Our corporate responsibility
Sustainability is more than just a product or a service, it starts with us - we work continuously to live it in all its dimensions. In doing so, we pursue the “ESE with G” approach: the holistic integration of economic, social and ecological aspects, supported by responsible and future-oriented corporate management. In order to guarantee this and to have our claim verified externally, we have decided to be certified in accordance with the ZNU Standard for Sustainable Management. This also includes an annual review of our ambitions and progress.
As a company, we set ourselves goals to promote sustainable corporate management. We therefore scrutinize existing processes, develop solutions and create structures that promote and anchor sustainable action.
Environmental
Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. We see it as our responsibility and are actively committed to reducing the CO₂e emissions caused by our business activities.
Our business activities generated 9.82 tonnes of CO₂ emissions in 2024, which we fully offset.
For 2025, we have set ourselves the goal of keeping our emissions at least at the current level - ideally, we would like to reduce them further.
Social
Our goal for 2024 was to create a health-promoting working environment and keep absenteeism due to illness below 5% in the long term. At less than 1%, we were actually well below this figure.
We have adjusted the target for 2025 in order to avoid false incentives - such as attendance despite illness. The focus is now on preventive health promotion: all employees can use the gym, including sports classes, free of charge. We also offer a comprehensive medical check-up for employees who have been with the company for two years or more. To review the effectiveness of these measures, we evaluate the health situation of our employees as a team four times a year and discuss wishes, ideas and possible measures.
Economic
The quality of our work and the satisfaction of our customers are our top priority. That is why we are constantly working to further develop our offerings and consulting services.
To make our customers' satisfaction measurable, we collect feedback after the completion of each project. In doing so, we record both the perceived quality of our work and the likelihood of recommendation (recommendation score). We collect and systematically evaluate the results in order to derive measures.
In 2024, our recommendation score was 9.6/10. Our aim is to keep the recommendation score above 9 on a permanent basis.
We are aware that as a consultancy for sustainability and impact, we must also be successful in business terms. We therefore always openly discuss the extent to which internal measures or new external consulting ideas are effective and financially feasible.
Governance
For our boutique consultancy, we rely on strategic management using the OKR method and corporate governance in line with the ZNU standard.
In addition, we invest 10% of our weekly working hours in the targeted development of knowledge and the strengthening of our professional positioning. This also includes strategic partnerships and making our expertise visible to the outside world. This puts us in the “Champions League” in our segment - and that's exactly where we want to stay with our team. Or become even better.
