Jona Nelson
Senior Associate
After studying “Sustainability Management” at the University of Wuppertal, Jona spent more than six years at the ZNU - Center for Sustainable Leadership at the private University of Witten / Herdecke, where he helped to develop and improve the ZNU Standard for Sustainable Management. As co-author, he was jointly responsible for the 2018 and 2024 revisions of the ZNU Standard. Jona is responsible for the area of transformation and sustainability consulting for companies at evolutiq Impact Advisory. With his expertise in the area of transformation support, the introduction of sustainability management systems and -his goal is to support as many companies as possible in this change process and thus lay the foundations for a long-term and fairer economy of tomorrow. Outside of work, Jona enjoys hiking and camping in the great outdoors, preferably in areas where there are large rocks to climb. Otherwise, Jona can be found with his theater group in the rehearsal room and, on two weekends of the year, on stage.
Dr. Julian Frede
Managing Director
After studying economics, Julian was drawn to development cooperation. After working as a project consultant in Kenya, Madagascar, Mozambique, Benin and Senegal, he returned to the University of Trier. Here he completed his doctorate in economics and then worked for eight years at the KfW subsidiary Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG), where he developed his expertise in the areas of strategy, impact measurement and management. Julian is Managing Director of evolutiq Impact Advisory, where we help the evolutiq Group and other companies to operate more sustainably and enable them to invest in solving big problems, among other things. Julian loves spending time with his wife and three kids, whether traveling, hiking or spending time with extended family and friends. In his private life, he is also committed to sustainability, impact investing and politics. You can always tell that his hobby has become his profession.
Dr. Patrick Greß
Associate
Patrick trained as a business journalist at the Cologne School of Journalism and studied economics and business administration at the University of Cologne and TH Cologne. After graduating, he spent two years at FGS Global advising major corporations on communications strategy in the capital markets. Before joining evolutiq Impact Advisory, Patrick helped set up the “StartUpLab@TH Köln” and supported students in founding their own companies. At the same time, he completed his doctorate in the field of social entrepreneurship and impact drift in cooperation with the University of Trier. In his work, Patrick supports the product line on impact measurement and management. In his spare time, he volunteers as a coach for a special field hockey team in Cologne and is always up for a run.
Karin Büth
Accounting Manager
After completing her dual degree in business administration, specializing in tax and auditing, Karin passed her tax consultant exam in 2005. After many years in the tax office, she was drawn to the entrepreneurial side and has spent the last 6 years managing and restructuring the accounting department of a large retirement home. At evolutiq Impact Advisory, Karin supports the accounting department in all matters and is also responsible for further simplifying processes. In her private life, she enjoys spending time with her family and good friends. Either over a leisurely breakfast, on weekend trips or Nordic walking in the forest. Karin can really switch off in the sauna, doing yoga or reading.
Marie Nothelle
Accountant
Her professional career began eight years ago in a large retirement home, where she discovered her enthusiasm for accounting as part of her training as a healthcare administrator. At evolutiq Impact Advisory, Marie is the interface to the accounting department and can contribute her sound knowledge and skills in the field of accounting while continuing her studies part-time. In her free time, Marie enjoys attending concerts and festivals, baking and traveling to sunny places.
Mathias Heinz
IT Project Manager
Mathias started his career as a trained IT systems administrator at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Cologne. In 2013, he moved to the start-up Ergobag, where he was responsible for operational IT. He also played a key role in planning the digital strategy and IT infrastructure for THE SHIP, one of Germany's most digital office properties. Mathias has been working as an IT project manager at evolutiq since 2021. He is responsible for the planning and implementation of IT projects. For evolutiq Impact Advisory, Mathias is IT support, IT expert and first point of contact for all questions. In his spare time, he enjoys gaming, e-sports and pen and paper.
Dr. Oliver Steinki
Founder & Managing Partner
After dual studies in Corporate Banking with Commerzbank and a Master's degree in Advanced Finance in Madrid, Oliver completed a PhD in Financial Mathematics at the University of Manchester. He gained professional experience at Commerzbank, Stigma Partners and Morgan Stanley Capital. In 2010, he and three friends founded ergobag GmbH, which today operates several bag and backpack brands as FOND OF GmbH. He made a name for himself in the real estate industry with the construction of the EULOCO logistics hall in Euskirchen and the fully digitized office property THE SHIP in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. Oliver Steinki founded evolutiq GmbH in 2020. He is also an investor in various start-ups and holdings. In 2021, Oliver founded evolutiq Impact Advisory GmbH with Julian Frede as an exciting addition to the activities of the investment manager evolutiq. When Oliver is not tinkering with new ideas and strategies, you can usually find him on his bike, on (or next to) the ski slope and soon in the air, because his pilot's license is within reach.
Silke Wiener
Talent & Organizational Development
After studying business administration in Aachen, Silke worked for McKinsey for 20 years in various HR roles before she took over the responsibility for building and developing the evolutiq team in summer 2020. She is passionate about agile HR management and strategically working on innovations in HR organization and talent development together with the team. With the same enthusiasm, she also supports the companies in the evolutiq network with advice and support on strategically important HR topics. She finds her inner center in yoga and meditation, but also in jogging through the beautiful forest next to her home together with her family.
